The holiday season is here. By donating to our mission, you’re showing the world that fungal conservation is critical. As a 501(c)(3)nonprofit, we need donors to help support our current projects: the beginning of CA FUNDIS Year 2, our first ever FUNDIS Annual Report, the creation of a 4th Rare Fungi Challenge, and building a brand new website. These are big projects! We can’t complete them without your help.
Here are 4 ways you can support FUNDIS during giving season:
1) Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as "a day that encourages people to do good" through community engagement and generosity. Individual contributions play a vital role in enabling nonprofits to effectively meet their missions, so mark your calendar and support fungal conservation on this day. Here is how you can get ready to give:
Mark your calendar. Add this event to your Outlook, Google, or Apple calendar.
Give. On, or before, November 28 visit our donation portal to start your monthly gift.
Share your mycophilia. Let friends and family know why you’re supporting fungal biodiversity this Giving Tuesday.
2) Become a paid subscriber to this newsletter today.
3) Add FUNDIS as a favorite charity on Paypal
You can now support us on platforms including Paypal, eBay, and AirBnB.
That means that every time you check out with Paypal, or participating platforms, you can donate to fungal conservation.
Set us as your favorite charity so when you check out, FUNDIS will show up!
Go to our FUNDIS profile on PayPal and select ‘Set as favorite charity.”
Or log into Paypal, ‘Set your favorite charity’, and type in Fungal Diversity Survey.
4) FUNDIS Swag: This season, give the gift of mycoliscious apparel and accessories that are not only stylish, but also express your love for fungal conservation. Ensure your gifts arrive on time by ordering before November 20th for Hanukkah and by December 6th for Christmas. Each purchase you make will support our mission to protect fungi. Visit our online store.
